Cookie Policy
Version date: March 23, 2026
1. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Farmor Software Pty Ltd ACN 667 875 121 trading as Fluency ("we", "our" and "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on usefluency.com.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. How our consent flow works
When you visit our site, we run a lightweight geolocation check to determine whether consent is required before optional storage or tracking technologies are used.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see our consent experience before optional analytics or marketing technologies are enabled.
- Visitors outside those regions do not see the first-visit banner by default, but can still review and change their preferences at any time from the footer link labelled
Cookie preferences. - If we cannot determine your country, we default to the stricter consent experience.
3. Categories we use
Necessary
These technologies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off in our interface.
They include:
- the
fluency_consentcookie that stores your privacy preferences; - existing product or website state cookies needed for core functionality; and
- security or authentication-related storage used by our applications.
Analytics
These technologies help us understand performance and product usage.
They currently include:
- PostHog;
- Vercel Web Analytics; and
- Vercel Speed Insights.
Marketing
These technologies support attribution, campaign measurement, and lead-intent workflows.
They currently include:
- Google Tag Manager, which currently loads Google Analytics 4, Google Ads measurement, and Microsoft Clarity within our container;
- Unify Intent; and
- session-based form attribution storage used to preserve landing and referral context.
4. When optional technologies are activated
In regulated regions, optional analytics and marketing technologies remain off until you actively enable them.
Outside regulated regions, those optional technologies may load after the initial geolocation check unless you later disable them.
If you turn a category off after it was previously on, we clear relevant known browser storage for that category and refresh the page once so already-loaded scripts are removed from the current session.
5. How long we remember your choice
We store your cookie preference for up to 180 days unless you change it sooner or we need to ask again because our consent configuration changes.
6. How to change your preferences
You can change your choice at any time by:
- selecting
Cookie preferencesin the footer; or - using the floating
Privacycontrol that appears for visitors in regulated regions after a choice has been made.
7. Third-party policies
Third-party providers may also place or access their own cookies or similar identifiers when their services are enabled. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
8. Contact
